In addition, all of CBHM's training and certification programs have been developed to meet recognized standards. You can be certain that the programs and training delivery is exceptional. We have trained thousands of workers and management to meet specific requirements.
Part One Certification involves two mandatory parts: Basic Certification and Workplace-Specific Hazard Training:
Level Two Certification, Workplace-Specific Hazard Training focuses on significant hazards in your workplace. It covers how to assess those hazards and ways to control and/or eliminate them.
One worker and one management designated JHSC member must complete both Part One and Level Two of the Training.
Training for Part Two must be identical for both employer and worker JHSC members.
Confined Space Entry (OWWCO; CEU Points)
For those organizations requiring CEU points, Ontario Water Wastewater Certification Office (MOE Guideline 4.2 Director Approved) has authorized CBHM's programs for both:
First Aid Certification (Provincial, Ontario)
CBHM's program is approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario, in meeting all criteria of Regulation 1101.
First Aid Certification (Federal)
This is a federally approved program through Human Resources and Skills Development Canada in meeting with the Canada Labour Code.
CBHM's program has incorporated the mandatory requirements coupled with interactive learning tools and approaches that provide the new JHSC representative with the information they will need, the tools and resources required to carry out their roles, and important knowledge and insight shared from our seasoned experts to help them meet their new responsibilities.
Our trainers are seasoned experts with both extensive managerial experiences in a number of different sectors, coupled with consultative H&S expertise that assists instructor delivery of core components, along with the complete understanding and methods to help ensure participants are fully versed to understand and meet their new roles and expectations.

Part Two is not a single course but rather a workplace specific hazard assessment and training modules that are identified and workplace specific.
A Hazard Analysis is required to determine the number of required modules for your organization. As an example, office type environments will be more prone to ergonomic issues, slips and falls, air quality, and emergency preparedness. Industrial and manufacturing environments will include a wider range of modules specific to their hazards.

The objectives of our confined space training are to provide participants with an opportunity to practice their confined space - safe entry procedures using their equipment, to assist in fulfilling management's obligations to ensure workers are trained and competent to deal with Confined Space Entry, and to reduce the risk of accidents which result from the lack of knowledge and compliance with current Regulations, MOL Guidelines, standard safe practices, policies, and procedures for entry into confined spaces.
